Front Spring: No Center Bolt
Here's a front spring that uses dimples to keep the spring leafs from shifting when installed rather then a center bolt. Notice the top leaf has a larger dimple then the other leafs to fit the square bolt hole in the front cross member.I guess not having a bolt hole in each leaf removes the possibility of the spring cracking at the bolt hole in heavy use.
