Steering Column Brace: Heavy Duty
This unit is one of the nicest and strongest support brackets I have seen for the Model T steering column and it's made of heavy cast iron. It's installed on our 15 touring car. If you notice one side has a longer curled finger that wraps around the column on the passengers side. You have to clip the longer curled finger under the column and then rotate it toward the drivers side which locks it to the column. The clamp on the back locks the unit to the lip of the cowl. This unit is a lot more rigid then a similar thin APCO accessory bracket. An added benefit is that no holes need to be drilled to mount the unit so the car can be returned to the way Henry made it easily.
