Rear Axle: TT Ruckstell Axle Shifter "Hall Scott" Long Nose
The final shifter design is known as the 'long nose'. This resolved issues of failure due to the torque applied to parts on a short radius. The long nose allowed much more leverage to be used on the yoke.
