I remember the first time I really saw this as a photograph. There was discussion as to the exact vintage of the car (early 1910). And, at that time thinking what a great Eagle painting it would make! Very soon after that, the painting was shared on the forum! Yeah, it was a perfect subject for Rich's beautiful work. He captured the kid's expressions PERFECTLY!
