Tools: Rear Seat Tool Box
This is one of the nicer running board tool boxes that's followed me home from a local swap meet. It's 3 foot long by 6.5 x 6 inches. I am looking forward to installing it on our 1915 touring car once I repaint it black to match our car. With this box you can still mount a Tall accordion luggage gate and carry camping gear over top of the toolbox without over topping a luggage gate.
"Most I have seen that are that size and shape are on the rear floor of a larger touring car. The narrow lip on top behind the hinge fits either under the back of the front seat or under the front edge of the back seat, just under the rear passengers feet. (Chris Paulsen).
