Thanks, I have lots of zip ties and that sounds like a good use for one. Appreciate the suggestion.

Band adjusting nut change
Looks like I need to replace the band adjusting nut on the reverse band. I don't have the tool that holds the band ends together. If I remove the nut without anything holding the band ends together will that create a problem? Will the bolt come out of the end of the band? Thanks for your comments. I...

Re: Loose spoke problem
Update on my original post: I agree that I needed to do something about the offending wheel so I decided to replace that wheel with a very good spare one that came with the car when I bought it. The "new" wheel has good, tight spokes all around and I sure feel better now that I have replaced the fir...

Re: What have you done on/with/to your T in febuary?
A while back I posted on the forum that I had managed to repair two loose wooden wheel spokes by using a product called "tight chair". It is supposed to cause the wood to swell and make the joint tight. Although I never had a problem with the spokes I decided last week that I should replace the whee...

Loose wheel spoke fix
When I posted a question about fixing two loose wheel spokes it was suggested that I use a product called "Chair-Loc". Didn't have any luck finding any of that but went to Jim's Ace Hardward and they had another product called "Tite Chairs". Does the exact same thing. Guys that restore old furniture...

Re: Loose spoke problem
Thlanks Don, however I've tried that site and the phone number they give is: 360-299-2464 and I've had no luck dialing that. They have a picture of the product on their site but no joy in contacting them. Maybe it's because I have a cheap phone??

Loose spoke problem
There are two slightly loose spokes on one wheel of our '15 touring and on an earlier post I read several comments praising the product, "Chair-Loc". The comments said that this product swells wood and has been very successful in fixing loose spokes and other wood connections. I've been trying to fi...
