We set up this forum in Jan and 1000's of items have been sold. That's good. Speaking from personal experience both selling and watching numerous transactions unfold, there are things that work, and others that don't work as well. Here are some pointers to get the most out of placing an ad:

Should we start a public list of scammers emails? Right now I’ve got two who are trying really hard…they might get lucky and find a picture of what I am actually looking for.
Would also add this to the list of scammers emails tricks:
1. An email copying in another person who has exactly what you are looking for.
2. To combat fake/ stolen images...

I’m looking for a decent set of lugnuts for my ‘26 roadster with wire wheels. I know Chaffin’s did a run of lugnuts but those are sold out. I called today and got on their waitlist. They said I’m the first one on the new list…..
In the mean time, perhaps someone can sell me a nicer set than what I have.
Thanks!

Four coils as pictured. Take one or Take all. These have been cleaned, new capacitors installed, new fiber washers, new tar poured, reassembled adjusted and tested. These obviously aren't Patterson coils but they work and could be a perfect backup to have on the shelf. Reasonable offers considered. PayPal only. Buyer pays actual shipping.

No thanks, if you can't list a price per coil or set. Good luck!.

:D Sold
The odometer is missing a few parts that look easy enough to fabricate (a ring to hold the mechanism in place, a rotor that goes on the counter & a modified wheel washer to trip the rotor as the wheel turns).

Hello,
I need another 1912 front fender iron. Preferably the one with the eyelet or no cutout at all (i.e. I'll drill it myself)
If you have one, please let me know. Thanks!
