Re: I'm sure looking forward to the next issue
I just received mine and read the article on the 2019 ocean to ocean tour. Nice article, but what's up with not having a full list of participants and where they came from? It would seem like a little recognition for such a grand accomplishment would be in order.

Re: MTFCA Magazine Article on 50 mph...
I once took the 22 yellow speedster home from my shop ~ 7 miles on the local "Belt Line" (4 lane). The speed limit is 55 mph on that stretch and most people far exceed that. I was able to keep up with most of the traffic but what was the scariest part of that little adventure was those people passin...

Re: Cost to get an engine and transmission rebuilt
Interesting thread, here’s my approach to buying cars. When I retired in 2005 I Had several cars (6) mostly Model A’s and “T”s. as of today, I still have 6 cars but not the same ones. I found out that I could go online and buy a fairly nice car, generally because the seller was downsizing or he had ...

Re: Towing a trailor?
OK, I have already told the buyer that I had no idea if the car could pull his trailer, that is why I am asking the question. I do know there are T's out there that are being used as tow vehicles, I'm just trying to amass as much info as I can to give him, for example the Brake issue is a great begi...

Towing a trailor?
I have someone interested in purchasing my 26 Huckster, he has a small covered camper I'm guessing about 1200-1600 lbs. The huckster has a fresh recently rebuilt engine and trans (about 500 miles on them). What is the general thoughts on doing this? I don't want to tell him its OK to do this if its ...

Probably doesn't count, but here is a comparison on a speedster.
I had them on this car for about 4 years, the same for the whites. the greys seemed to wear better, and never had any discoloration issues with the greys either.

I was just over on the Model A forum, they have a very extensive list of Model A websites that pertain to Model A restoration.

I've changed the 1915 headlights to the 1913's. still thinking about the side lights.
As you can see, I've also been converting it into a fire chiefs car more on that later.

A few years ago we visited the "Custer last stand" memorial in Montana. In their museum there is a display of cavalry uniforms. My first reaction was why are they showing children's uniforms? They weren't, The soldiers were that small!

After replacing the HH on the 26, I has a small drip coming from the bottom of the Universal cap. I wiped it down and forced some Hylomar Blue up into it and it hasn't dripped sense. That stuff is amazing, never hardens.
