Re: Morton and Brett Radiator
Hello Doug,
Does your car have These Lima Co brackets on it?
Also found a period photo of a possible Morton Brett radiator car with the Lima Co brackets on it.

Re: WTB - Laurel style front axle drop brackets
I got these unmachined brackets available.
Will take some work. They are just loose castings off of some original brackets

Re: Gas Lines
Do you think Henry Ford would plate brass, that's more labor and material cost. I agree with you Frank. I do not think Ford would have paid for seamless brass tubing that was plated over. I like how the link you provided also describes a wrapped style tube design as was printed on the Ford drawings...

Re: Gas Lines
Sorry I can't help out with what they used in 1909. I do have one factory drawings from Ford from the early 20's and a 1926 drawing that both state two possible materials which makes it even more difficult to just say one way was correct. It says "Seamless S brass tubing annealed or wrapped and swea...

Re: Top Bow Tie Down?
The strap is for for the earlier saddles that didn't take a pad. (1909-1913ish) The tabs get riveted to the saddle
The pad is for the later style saddles(1913ish to end of production). it take a one piece strap without the tabs like in Richs photo

Re: Gas line for the purist
I didn't get the change of notice cards when I went to Ford on the fuel lines. Fords drawings also doesn't say how the tube was formed. What I saw was more of a brief description on what the material was and how it was bent to shape and also the note on checking the seamed tubes with pressure. Thank...

Re: Gas line for the purist
I got some information off of a 26-27 drawing on fuel lines. They said Ford would except either Brass seamless tubing or wrapped and sweated brass tubing. The wrapped and sweated tubing also had to be able to hold 10lbs of pressure after being bent to shape. What the drawing doesn't tell me though i...

Re: Old photos of Sprague Worm Steering Gear For Fords
Here is some photos of the same style that Dennis posted above. I got one and a half of brackets so the second one is pulled apart to show the guts. One cool thing with the Sprague boxes is there is a adapter that would mount to the bottom of the stock steering column and would fit inside of the wor...

Re: Ross steering box for 26-7 T
Here is a photo of the 25 and earlier Ross box next to the 1926-1927 box like Les has.
The 26-27 box is shifted closer to the frame rail and the spark rod has to go above the casting for the gear setup when the earlier set up still has room for the spark rod to go between the gear box and the frame.

Re: Adjustable kingpin reamer??
Adam and Scott: Sorry for the outdated information on our website. Adam is correct and the reamers we sell are the .502 size to fit the 2710SA and 2710SB bolts sets that we sell. The reamer is still too small to work with the 2711E bolts that we sell that RV Anderson is the supplier of. The website ...
