Re: How do you separate two transmission drums?

Marvin,
As was mentioned it should just slide apart. Check the teeth on the gear sometimes they get a bit of a burr on them and that will keep them from coming apart. Hope that makes sense.
Best of luck,
Kevin

Charlie I don't mean to highjack the ad, but if you are interested, here are reproductions of the "U" bolts and plates for the crossmember. I ended up having to make my own, Good luck, Kevin https://www.ebay.com/itm/Model-T-Warford-Transmission-Mount-U-Bolt-Car-Truck-Antique/132343253483? hash=item1...

Re: Duplex Improved Carburetor

Gene,
That looks a bit like a Simmons Super Power carb. I'll bet if you look at the tag it was made by Simmons.
Try a google search "Mtfca forum Simmons" and you should be able to get the info you are looking for,
Best of Luck,
Kevin

Ok,
I'm in, this is Thelma Tae, pretty much just as Ford birthed her, with the exception of Bennett brakes, and a Universal 6 speed.
Thanks for the thread,

Interesting I see this post as I took my wife's 2014 Ford Escape in for a tire rotation just...

Re: KW Governor

Dan,
That may have been me, I was looking for some parts for a Kingston, and as luck would have it, purchased an entire unit with all the parts I need.
If I was the one, Thanks for thinking of me,
Best,
Kevin

Possibly to secure a handle on a crosscut or rip saw.
Seems like I have seen something similar,
Good Luck with that one,

Interesting engine on e-bay

Ok, I have no connection to this ad, it is on e-bay by Mark Fremiller from Model T Haven, but what the heck is this engine. If it is a go fast engine someone surely has history on it as someone spent a lot of time engineering this thing, So what is the story????? Kevin https://www.ebay.com/itm/Model...
