SOLD! Taking off a 1919 model T this turn signal has the wires still attached with an indicator light. Attaches to the steering column and is tall enough you can flip it with your fingers while driving.

Okay great, I have the "T" top for a 1919 Model T.

I have a good complete Kingston L4 carburetor that needs a cleaning, and I prefer to buy new and start with a fresh rebuild. Does anyone know of an NH or L4 for sale? My L4 will run the car so it is functional.

I believe some early '15's did indeed use leftover "forks" from the 1914 models. But fairly early on they switched over to standard posts.

To be able to remove and install, you'll want the removable ear side on the driver's side when complete, that way you can slide the band, without the ear, all the way around inside the trans and "fish" it up the pedal side. With the ears on it gets harder.

Thanks for all the help, I moved the extra wire from the ammeter back to the screw on the switch (where it seemed to be missing) and everything is good now. Yes, the new ammeters are kinda junky but I tightened all connections and will keep an eye on it. Thanks for all the help!

Hey fellers, drove my car around today and all was well. Battery was charging and no issues. Came home and tightened up my 4 bolts holding my switch and ammeter and hooked up my battery and saw a little smoke starting to come from my ammeter- it was hot? Vietnam is one of the the rubber capitals of the world, couple that with cheap labor and Voila!

I would quit messing around with it and buy a new carburetor and just swap it out and see if it fixes the problem. Pricey but may provide sanity.

"All the market will bear" is the capitalism mantra, and so like Novice said, things will level off and actually, who knows, maybe Model T's will now be purchased by a new group of folks who can afford em and find out how much fun they really are? Life has a way.

Thanks guys, first I am going to try and re-bend the contacts and see if I can get a better connection that way. BTW, of course the first response to my inbox was a scammer trying to bilk me out of $50 for copied pics of a switch from Lang's. Always some morlock trying to scam.

My ignition switch on my '26 won't keep contact with the battery side and is very worn and loose. Does anyone have a good one available? Wanted to ask before I buy brand new. Solved: re-bent the contacts and she's like new now.

Yep, that's what I was thinking as well- the bolt is behind the sheet metal and was added during the wooding process of the car. What's even more odd is that my Runabout doesn't have any evidence of a large bolt there either....

Well isn't that odd too, I wonder why? Is it possible that some early 13's were using the 1912 model supply of windshields at the factory?

I kinda doubt that but I learned never to say never. Just strange.

I have the firewall brackets that pinch the bottom of the windshield together but nothing on either side for the supports....strange.

It's up to you but finding original 13-14 seat upholstery will be tough and even harder to find in usable shape- have you considered taking the one you have to an upholstery shop and having them create a new bottom cover and possibly attach the original on top of it? I installed the AC brakes about 10 years ago, on a 1917 Roadster, using the rods and not the cables, I found them equally good forwards and backward (never in rain) but wasn't pleased with their stopping power- I mean I really had to stomp the pedal to get good grip to stop quickly.
