Barn Find

This is what I think of when someone says they have a barn find. There are two Model T's in building. It was a fun day last summer digging out both cars. It was the most mouse, bird and pack rat poop I have seen in years. Ton of parts, I number of which I still need to pick up. The car was disassemb...

Re: LIVE Video Webinar for MTFCA Easter Sunday

Hi, this was great. I just caught the last 15-20 minutes because of other Easter things. I did my first zoom meeting last Friday and it was pretty amazing. The potential for this is huge.

Re: Anyone on here who was on the first Forum?

The picture Steve posted above, Bruce being the first picture. On the next one Stan listed all but one, In order left to right me, Stan Howe, Mike Walker, Past President Dan Condor, Jack Daron and George House. Dan Condor sold more stuff for me at Chickasha than I ever did. He is a great guy and I m...

Re: Substituting for a part: Is there a metallurgist in the room?

So in looking at the chart that Tim posted is that saying that Red Brass and Phospher Bronze would be good choices for pins? I ask because I have 16 valve Roof heads that uses stock T valves but have heavier valve springs and a very high lift cams. I have not run these engines yet and have always th...

Bob your suspicions were correct. Sorry for the poor picture that posted upside down. It does right itself when clicked on. I started to take it out in the sunlight but after about 15 feet my back said something different. :) 18Z245N180

Re: RAJO head questions

It is definitely a "C". No bump out on drivers side and oblong or rounded rectangle center port. As mentioned before the rockers are not correct, but that is not uncommon.

Re: Any news about Larry Sigworth ?

Larry was a great guy. He was an avid researcher on Speedsters and the early days of racing along with many other things. He restored two Paco speedsters that are great works of preservation. Larry spent hours helping me do some research on a speedster body, loaned me some stuff that was very rare w...

Possible Scam

If you get a call from 707-210-2457 wanting to sell you the parts your looking for ask for pictures. I believe he was trying to scam me. Pretty smooth operator, nice guy but when I said I would only overnight or mail payment the conversation ended with he would get back to me. We had a 1/2 dozen pho...

Joe sorry I didn't find any original stand in the parts I just got. RAJO shafts, rockers, bolts, a set of machined blocks that are stands but no originals.

Re: willie cordes

Willie was a great guy and I missed not seeing him the last couple of years at Chickasha. We would go round and round on stuff and sometimes, eventually, even would work out some kind of deal.
Sympathies to the family.

Nice day for a short drive

We're at 4 below but a nice sunshiney day for a ride. My wife didn't think it was all that nice out and didn't come along, but my dog Buck was fine with it.

I agree with Tim, your suicide front end may truly be a suicide front end. Looks neat but I think you need some gussets or bracing of some type.
