When I shut off my T I put the brake lever forward to relieve pressure on the spring and clutch pack, recently went to start it and forgot to pull the brake lever back----guess what --- got a free start and almost went through to garage door.

I have a great nephew who is one of those firefighters. Last I heard he was in the Columbia River area. A while back he was near Flagstaff. I have nothing but tremendous respect for this young man.

thats exactly what i was thinking. because its a A crank block, I think sleeving would be the best option. the block is in good shape except the bore has too much taper. I have no idea who did the A crank conversion since I bought the complete engine and transmission at an estate auction in 2000.

Can a T block be safely bored to .080 over or should it be sonic tested to make sure it has enough "meat" left to ensure it won't present a problem later on. The block presently has an A crank with 292 Y Block .060 pistons. I searched the internet and found that .080 oversize pistons are hard to fin...

the over engineered timer roller is from a Nelson Timer I just today bought some Model T parts and a Nelson timer was included
