So glad you got it running but you may want to be careful using your right hand to crank it with. Check past forum posts on using your left hand to prevent a broken arm if it kicks back on you.

Allen,

Any Homecoming Pictures?

Someday I hope to get to the homecoming, but I haven't made it yet. Anyone have pictures they can share?

Nice job Carston and congratulations on the Pharoh's Choice Award.
I have followed this car build on the forum and I am so glad that the Pharoh's Car Club recognized Carston's hard work and awarded him with some cash for parts.

Thanks for the photos of the board meeting. Would it be possible for someone to put captions with the photos, so we know to who and what awards were presented.

Thanks

They must be standing in front of the truck in just the right spot to be seen through the windshield and oval window or there is a woman sitting in the tr...

Re: Jaeger Altimeter used on cars from the 1920-s

When I Googled "Vintage Jaeger Altimeter" the only ones that showed up were for aircraft.
There was one listed for the time period of 1925 to 1950 but again it was for aircraft. They were asking $8,500.

Rich,

I believe that Coupe was known as the "Abe Lincoln Coupe" because he would have been able to drive it with his hat still on and it was named after him in his memory.

Re: Need some advice Stain Colors

Take some scrap wood from your project build and do test staining on them. It's best to see what the wood looks like when stained and varnished. Better to buy small cans of test stain than to stain the entire project and not like it.
