In your last photo do you have any idea of what kind of truck that is?
Is he taking a truck load of "old Hens" to market?

Allen,
Thanks for the heads up. I will double check with Art before he makes any decisions about this radiator.
The measurement was taken with the tape under the bottom of the top tank to the top of the bottom tank so the 17 inches should be just the core.

I don't see what it matters if the auction is online or in person you would have to drive to the location either way. I think the advantage of the online auction is you don't have to make the trip if you didn't win.

Re: Jaeger Altimeter used on cars from the 1920-s
When I Googled "Vintage Jaeger Altimeter" the only ones that showed up were for aircraft.
There was one listed for the time period of 1925 to 1950 but again it was for aircraft. They were asking $8,500.

Rich,
I believe that Coupe was known as the "Abe Lincoln Coupe" because he would have been able to drive it with his hat still on and it was named after him in his memory.

Re: Need some advice Stain Colors
Take some scrap wood from your project build and do test staining on them. It's best to see what the wood looks like when stained and varnished. Better to buy small cans of test stain than to stain the entire project and not like it.
