Those rings on the pliers were added so you could hang them from your ears while using the screwdriver for a chisel or paint stir stick. That way you didn't lose them.

Well Hank, I sat up all night on the front porch waiting for the pizza to arrive and finally gave up around dawn as the snow flurries started to cover me. I figured you lost my address or ran out of gas. Besides the pizza would have been cold.

Laminating the top is a great idea and I wish I'd known about that when I re-wooded my Coupe. The extra strength will help hold together better because of the flexing of the corners on an uneven road.

I was always told that motorcycle oil was used because it contained zinc and that zinc was a necessary additive to aid valve seats that were not replaced with hardened steel.

I watched the three videos that I could find on it and it mostly looks like a cosmetic restore job. They didn't do any disassembly they just painted clear over the rust with a brush and no mechanical work yet.

Another great photo Herb.
I often look at these trucks that were loaded with furniture and wonder if the people are just moving local or did they have to pack up and head out in search of work and a better life.

Sometimes the problem is lack of gas flow from the sediment bulb and can be caused by two issues. 1) Screen is dirty and plugged up . 2) The valve hole is not in line with the fuel line when it is open. Some of the handle holes were not drilled in the correct position. The car will run fine at lower...
