Re: Screen Drool .. This is what I've been doing.

Stan,

I would be willing to put up a little cash to help cover the cost of the photos for the museum if they are interested in hanging them up. I just think that is one way to let people see the different carburetors and I haven't seen any better carburetor pictures then what you post.

Stan,

I think that perhaps those photos of your carburetors should be framed and hung in the Model T Museum so people who visit can see all the different types and see your works of art. They would look good in the library too.

What is old is new again... everyone thinks putting lights on a car is something that was done recently but your photos and write ups prove that wrong. I am amazed that they used electric lights back then and we have issues doing it now and even with LEDS! I wonder how they powered the lights back t...

Re: Hayes wheels - what would you do?

Rustoleum makes a "galvanoleum" spray that is a galvanized finish to it and it looks very close to hot dip galvanized when it dries. I've used it and like it but everyone has their own ideas on how something should look when finished.

I believe the third mans name is Buttflingpoo. He was one if not the best archer in the county. He could hit a housefly between the eyes at 100 yards.

What happens next to the top? Is it just painted to match the car or do you add the long grain cobra product on top of your fiberglass?

Are these the parts you are looking for?

I will not be able to get to my shop and look to see if I even have them for at least two weeks. Perhaps someone else may have them.

My condolences on the loss of your friend. I lost a good friend like that a few years ago who was 96 and he loved to ride in my model T's. After the ride he would talk about riding in a Model T with his mother driving to go to town shopping.

If he will sell you the wood wheels you can always respoke them or have them done for you. If you can inform him that he could sell the body of that car and make money to buy a fiberglass hot rod body. Hope you can save the car as well as the wheels
