Has anyone ever installed an 8 volt battery in a 1927 Model T?
I was wondering if it would cause any damage to the electrical components, ie. generator, starter, light bulbs.
Appreciate any insight into this situation.

Bruce, I was hoping you had the answer..... I am using 1/4" glass and I purchased my first felt channels from Lang's and the second set from Snyders. The slot on the Snyders is much wider. The slot in the channel using the Lang product was too narrow for my 1/4" glass to slide easily. I am not sure ...

I am installing new widows in my 27 coupe. I am having difficulty with one of the door windows. I can not seem to get it to go up level. 1. the setting tape is : 1/16 thick glass bedding
I am also using Langs #8020 door glass to metal channel rubber seal
2. re- pop bottom metal channel for window glass - #8020ch (Langs)

I can't seem to attach the bottom metal channel to the glass (on the door glass ) with out it falling off after moving the window up and down a couple times. --- does anyone now a way to attach the metal channel, and stop this from happening ... Thanks for the info James .... But I am looking for the measurement from the front edge of the wood frame to the center of the first hole and also the center to center dimension from the first hole to the hole behind it (going to the rear of the car ) Sorry for the mix up ...Joe

Does anyone know the center distance of the two 5/8 holes for adjusting seat position, in the wood seat frame (frame seat spring sits on) for a 1927 Coupe?
In addition, does anyone know if the seat spring is fastened to the wood frame, if so how?
