Dropping off and picking up. Monday the 1920 Runabout arrived home, after getting some woodwork done and new paint, top and interior. The 1918 Coupelet(removable pillar coupe) is off for the same treatment. The Runabout is ready for Spring driving and showing off.

This is the 1918 style Coupe Walt is looking for. Zooming into the photo one can see the brackets for removing the B pillar and that the door hinges are below the belt line of the body. No, it is not for sale. George

Re: What have you done with your model T in September?
Now that the Coupelet is home, I got it out in the sunshine to do a little garage cleanup, As an update, yes, this is the same Coupelet I got in May of 2017(see meet Clara my birthday present, May 2017 thread). The body is now on a correct 1918 chassis with an August '18 engine. She runs and is driv...

Re: What have you done with your T in May
while at my brother's garage yesterday and after he broke the cork float in the Holley G, might as well mount the body to the frame. At least I didn't have to buy lunch for five guys. The two post lift worked great.

Re: What have you done with your T in May
Took the '18 chassis I started up last week for a test ride yesterday. Wheeeee!. Went about 6 miles, ran out of gas twice, had only a lawnmower gas tank. Have a timer and a driveline issue but easy fixes. Body goes on in a few weeks. image0 (1) - Copy.jpeg Look pretty cool George. Congrats! Thanks....

Started up the '18s completed chassis yesterday. After priming with the choke 3 times, it started on the second crank. A yard drive next week. Once my brother is finished with the race car, will use the two post lift for the body installation.

Re: 1916 Coupelet
Russ,
Nice addition to your Coupelet collection. Hope to see one of them at this year's tour. I do have a question for you about the rear taillight/license bracket. On the '17 is it the bracket that mounts on the rear body panel or the one the mounts underneath the rear body panel.

My first car was a 1923 low radiator T touring with a 1925 engine. I was a month shy of my 17th birthday. Owned it for 34 years. Finished restoring it in 1987.
