Re: Model T Tour Guidance

Another good idea can be to use map software and set it to Bicycle routings. Usually results in no highway, no gravel, simple routes.

Re: 1911 Touring side curtains

If you get this figured out, I’d be in for a set!
Keith Townsend in Oregon made a set for his car and documented extensively.

Re: 1911 floorboards

Ok Art,

From the drivers side the cut out for the block is about 12.5 inches in and about 4.25 inches wide, centered. It is about an inch deep, cut vertical.

The cutout for the speedometer is 3.75 inches in from the pass side. 1 inch wide, 3inches deep cut vertical.

Make sense?

Re: 1911 floorboards

Art,
I will get you pictures and measurements late tomorrow afternoon from my largely original 1911, 55276.

It’s stored elsewhere for the winter but I will be there after noon.

Re: FYI. Interesting car ...

Is this a 1909, or a 1909 tribute? We need to quit calling cars older than they are when in reality they are era replicates. How about a 51% rule. A majority of parts are both real and a specific date or production year, and the car can be called that year. Otherwise we call it by block date. We an ...
