This is how i build early delivery trucks in OZ

The black 1913 truck i finished 4 yrs ago.. The ex Pinno - Dobbins 1912 below that was a 2 yr build & race to make the car show in my town yesterday.. if i had another 2hrs i would of been able to fit the rear guards. Someone on this Planet had to give these the WoW factor. BOOM ! 👋 . . 🎤

Re: Mac's (Eckler's) Windshield Glass

You are all very lucky !!
I am getting quotes here in Australia for 1/4" $400-$700 to fit safety glass into my tourer brass windshield frame.
Auto glass fitters were on the high end where house safety glass fitters on the lower end. Not good !

Re: Could this end up to be a problem ????

I recall the 30x3.5 metal stem EEC brand tubes when i first purchsed them in 2009 along with my white tires from Wallace Wade in TX, were made in Vietnam & the 30x3 Universal brand metal stem tubes back then were made in Mexico..
I dont recall EEC making these tubes in the 30x3 size

Re: finishing firewall

The brass framing around the firewall comes in lengths with pre drilled holes from most vendors . With the thinner wrap material you can tuck it around the edges of firewall & the brass frame fits , hides & holds it in place .. With thicker wrap it wont fold over the edges & can bubble up & lift aro...

You can not install a H.C. head with domed pistons. I went this route, and ...

Can i run low head using domed pistons

I pulled off the high head on my 1912 engine today and i noticed the engine is fitted with fully domed piston heads .
The domed pistons run approx 1/2 inch above the block deck. If i was to change to a low head could it become a mechanical catastrophe ?
