I had four of them once. I have used them and they work well on most of the bolts, one tool instead of two. Nice speed wrench.

I’ve gone through four sets of universal ribbed whites. First set was in 2003 then about 2008 they didn’t turn brown. The next two sets turned brown and got hard and wore out pretty fast. They look really good on an early car but is it worth it?? I just put a set of blacks on. BTW car is a 16 touring.

Scrape with peaces of broken glass. Cheep tool. I did a set of wheels that way years ago. Worked for me.

Chris. What year T are you working on?? After 13 they were vinyl. The Only leather was the first roll at the door opening 14,15,and 16 not sure about later models.

Looks like If he pushes the steering wheel forward it presses the clutch. You see a vertical shaft just in front of the rear seat cushion and a rod going down an angle. Don

Why are those lock washers still on the fan arm bolt? They should be removed and a pin put thru the bolt. Two times I have seen the bolt with no pin back out and the fan destroy a brass radiator. Just my opinion. Don

The Carb looks pretty rusty. I would go with the lead gasket under the seat. I’ve had that problem before.

I would use the NH on two of my cars. They are good carbs. I think they give a little power than the swayback’s. IMO. DON

Jonah is your carb a straight thru or a swayback. You can tell by looking thru the carb. If it’s a full circle it’s a straight through.. If it looks oval it’s a sway back. The straight thru gives a little better performance if it’s set up right. Don

It’s no hill for a climber. Right Larry?? I have been down 18%+ dirt roads in Cajon Pass a couple of times in my 16 touring. It felt like I was standing on the floorboards. Lo gear and low gear KC Warford. Enough to pucker a$$ h...e but it was fun at the time. Don

I agree with Kerry. I use 8v batteries also. No problems at all just adjust the 3rd brush in your generator. No need to change lamps or anything. Don

I believe Jack’s wife still operates the antique store. I heard that she donated his model T parts to the local high school. Not real sure about that but I believe that’s what she said. I haven’t been up there for about two years now. Don

Jack Randel lived at 615 South Main St. big Pine California. He was a member of the Riverside/corona model T Ford club.
