Re: Cotter pins tips
The early automobile pins are a bit harder to come buy or make as the Eye is round and the ends are the same length. Making them much harder to get a hold of to bend over. On the newer pins that most are use to that are in a tight spot I take a flat blade screw driver and cut a slot in the end of it...

Re: Sandblasting Equipment
I would recommend a pressure fed blast cabinet. You will use much less air and a much better and faster result. You will only have one hose with a nozzle on it that makes it easier to handle and get into tight areas than the most common siphon type cabinets.

John, When your Father posted on the form I listened to what he said! He sure seemed to know the correct and best way to rebuild a T and had the experience to back it up. He surely is missed!

I have ran a Five Ball for over twenty years on my 1910 and 1911 and have worked well for me. Rebuilt them with a Brass float and new needle and seat.

Re: Turn Signals vs. Hand Signals
I open and close my fist with my arm out hoping to draw more attention. I have held a blinking LED in my hand too. Especially when making left hand turns. I have the passenger in my right hand drive cars make hand signals for me as I wonder how many realize what the signals mean out the right side o...

Multiple coils
I find it interesting that Henry used multiple coils (one for each cyl) on the T and how the manufacturers are using multiple coils today. Not having to have the Hi tension path threw moving parts as a rotor and cap. I also hope that most people on the forum understand how simple a coil is and how i...

Drove threw Spooner yesterday and still a nice little town. A lot of ice fishing and snow mobiling this time of the year going on. Much busier in the summer with all the lake activities.
