I believe the top part clamps on top of the driver's door of a T Touring car that would have its side curtains on, so that you can open the door without damaging the side curtains.

The Wilmo is an excellent manifold .  I have one on my 27 engine. They stay straight and resist warping.  For a preheater manifold , they are not overly heavy.

$1500 sounds like a great deal to me.  It would take a fellow a good amount of time to round up all 4 parts .  I have never seen an engine block like this for sale even.   If I did not already own an NOS head exactly like this, I would go for this package ! ( I am just sayin')

These axle housings are very hard to find ! Good straight backing plates and no bad pitting is a mega bonus for housings this early.

My Faux-Pa ( my boo-boo ) .  The head is an "AC".  There has been discussion on the Forum under headings of "High Compression Head"  and "Cast Iron Head".   I thought to correct myself before others did.

The correct step plates have only a cross hatched pattern and not the Mercury logo like Joe had made.

HI Larry, is your model an early No -door model ?  Somebody was reproducing the special mounting plate that bolted onto the firewall and made them in aluminum versus the factory steel one that Mercury made.  I cannot remember who it was .  Maybe Lang's at one time ?  -Dusty

I have a New Old Stock, never used KMC carb that I would sell to someone who would want to have a very interesting accessory. I can let it go for $130 This is likely THE most elusive carbs you would ever find. With the purchase of Mark's setup , you would be in great shape with spare parts. -Dusty
