Re: Revisiting some fabrication

You may be onto something Rich. I bet a hand full of screws and nuts in a gas tank bolted to that thing would clean it up nice!

Not near the fun but I use a sandblaster. That would make it easy to paint as well. Think pinstripe!

This was given to me by a friend. After seeing my TT when I got it, he said I should have it. One of my favorites.

Drove my cousins place to visit this evening. I left a bit late to catch the sunset but the warm glow of the headlights on a gravel road with the clouds was very relaxing 7 mile drive home.

Fun projects coil box kit

Ordered a FP coil box kit a couple months ago from Langs. Its on back order. I talked with them a week or so ago about another item on back order and have that now. Does anybody else carry these that may have them on the shelf for a 26? Not in any way complaining about Langs, if they had them I woul...

Not found a Hershey but while we are on the subject. Has anyone run these" Gambles Deluxe" plugs? I think they are NOS as I see no wear on electrodes. I may give them a try. I was just looking for experienced opinions.

Life in the slow lane with a smile is where its at! Glad to hear your about to hit the road again. There are good people in this hobby and great ...

20191019_104217.jpg At the mill. On the way home a buddy called and asked me to go to a car show at the high school. A couple senior's were doing it for a school project and food drive. I changed course from home to the high school in the next town, feed and all. 20191019_121851.jpg 20191019_121915...

Re: High Gear

You dont need to wind it up too high before shift. Get it going, back off throttle at same time you shift then increase throttle, if RPM's seem a little low after shift , retard timing until you are up in R's a bit more. It took me a few months to learn to get a smooth low to high. Its like dancing ...
