Re: Steve Jelf Facebook Page Update 11/28/2023

Thanks Mark for the update. I also got a call from Steve today. He sounded strong and we had a few laughs. He was in a very good mood and we talked a while about his progress and he is ready to get out of there. We joked about adding another story on the farm house after living in the Chicago skylin...

What a great thing to see when I checked the forum tonight. Welcome back Steve. I tried to call your cell phone a few minutes ago. We will talk later but you can spend days catching up on forum chatter I suppose. There is a couple posts about you also😁

Steve Jelf oct 4th update

I finally got Steve on the phone tonight. He sounded good and very alert. Still some confusion about what happened. Not uncommon at all. He is still in Indiana and wanting to get out of here. I guess they are waiting on the insurance company to approve the abulance ride. Go figure. I sent his comput...

Not alone

We are not the only old car guys that suffer modern iron.

The week of Steves accident a local guy was killed when broadsided in his supercharged cord.

Re: Steves 15 parts and photos

All good comments and valid concerns. Let me be clear about this. Nothing will be done to the car or parts collected until Steve can get on here and be in charge of his car. After talking with him I just wanted to put feelers out for parts and options for him. We talked about how great this group is...

Nice drive

I needed a battery for my tractor and a few other supplies from town. The T was begging for a run. I drove to town about 30 mile round trip. Not many more days like today this year.

I am at this point trying to get the thoughts out there like Tim said. Parys needed a place and willing help. I hope to get Steves computer repaired and to him so he can be incharge of our next move forward.

Steve wants to fix his T. I started this post to help find parts needed and show photos of the car at this point. I will take more photos as needed.

Ok, I spent around 3hrs with Steve today. He is doing well. Still a ways to go but he is getting there. Thanks to all who offered to help with his computer. I will be shipping it to Steves guy. Then make arrangements to get it in Steves hands. I talked with the nurses today and they are not 100% sur...

I am with Steve now. We wonder if anybody is close to Chicago that can work with him on getting his computer to the guy that can repair or transfer data to another. I am in my truck at this moment charging his phone. He has no 110v charger with him.

I love it!
I done the same with my TT. I pulled in line in the field with the semi's and grain trucks while the neighbor was picking corn. They got a kick out of that.

Re: What have you done to your Model T in September?

We planned this about a week ago. I loaded up my neighbors and all their kids and grandkids in the TT and went for about 20 mile round trip for icecream. There were 19 of us enjoying a nice evening fall ride. The oil lights are not that bright in the back and even tho I have clip on LED flashers, I ...
