roadster top renew tips

I'm starting to renew my 21 roadster top, hopefully it'll get warmer soon. I have the bows covered and installed on the car, I just thought I would tap into this great resource for any tips or what not to do. I know 90 degrees with bright sunshine will help and I'm it no hurry, thanks Chuck.

rear window curtain 1921

I'll be replacing the top on my 21 roadster all I have is the bows so not much to go by. Did the 21 roadsters have a roll-up back curtain with fasteners at the belt, or were they tacked along the bottom and covered with hidem, thanks.

brake up grade questions

Has an one tried the brake up grade that uses both the foot brake and the e-brake. Is it a worthy up grade? Is The installation very problematic? Thanks Chuck. I have a 21 roadster.

Re: old photo

One thing I liked about this photo was the model t was more likely to have survived, being the one that was tucked away in some old barn, while the new terraplane was pulling everyday chores, well past WW2. I don't know what year the T is, but looks in good shape for it's age.

old photo

While sorting old family photos, my wife found this one from 1935. I believe the new car is a 1934 Hudson Terraplane. What a difference twenty years makes!

where are all the t guys

I'm looking for a few model t owners in the twin tiers area of upstate New York. If there was a club lets try to get it active this winter so next year we can do some touring, thanks Chuck. :?: posting.php?mode=post&f=2#

running on mag

I have a 1921 roadster, very original, and this morning we went out for a jaunt, I turned the key the wrong way she fired up but was NOT happy. I knew it didn't run good on the mag, but forgot I turned the key the wrong way, after a quick check of everything under the hood, I remembered the key and ...

Re: back yard brake up grade

Chuck, If you looked at RDR's Nash Metro brakes and are interested I do have a few extra parts. He used a standard VW bug master cylinder. I just talked to a great guy in PA,(THE metro man), and he has everything I need, some new some used. He's close enough that I can pick-up the parts myself. Now...

Re: back yard brake up grade

There are two conditions where good brakes are needed. One is going downhill. We have hills so steep that even in low gear you need some brakes to keep the speed down. In flat open country, it might not be needed. Usually when on a road trip the T is so much slower than the modern cars that there i...
