Re: TT brakes

I to am very new to the TT world. As I read this post and understand a second braking system sounds like a good idea. My next question would have to be, what exterior band braking system is best?

Re: I drove my TT for the second time.

Yes it does have an auxiliary transmission. It doesn’t sound like the sound is coming from there but it certainly may be. I will try theses suggestions soon.
Thanks

Re: I drove my TT for the second time.

I really don’t know much about the engine and tranny rebuild. The only thing I know is that a couple of guys that heard it start and run were really impressed how well it started and ran, and how quiet it was.

Re: hauling tt truck

I hauled mine about 800 miles by cribbing up under the axles. The tires just barely touched the bed of the trailer. We had no problems.

Re: Cramped TT cabs

I believe the room in the drivers seat varied from one cab manufacturer to the other. I am new to the model t world but I have already realized the TT I have was not made for the short and heavy guys. However a friend of mine is 5’8” and about 155 lbs. he also is very close to the steering wheel. My...

Drag link worn

Yesterday I was checking things out on my TT and I noticed the sockets on the drag long were quite loose. What is the procedure for repairing these? The ball looks consistent round but the socket doesn’t look quite as good.
