There were a few different wheels used throughout production. First in 1909 you had the very skinny spoke wood felloe wheels with the smaller diameter hubs. Next you still had fairly skinny spokes in 1911 with the larger diameter hubs. Around 1913 the spokes got a little larger in diameter and I thi...

Re: Rip Van Winkle 1916 Touring
I am absolutely going to document this car. The only thing getting changed is I am taking the Kingston carburetor off and replacing it with a straight thru NH. I would be very happy to send many photos and info to the magazine editor. Who is it and how do I get their information? I will post more ph...

Re: Rip Van Winkle 1916 Touring
Jim, I’ll take more pictures tomorrow. It’s an April casting date and the oil fill cap is a three flute with a Ford script. First time I’ve seen a three flute type with a Ford script.

How many brass 1916’s were actually made?
I am sure this topic has come up many times, but I have recently acquired an incredibly original brass “Rip Van Winkle” 1916 touring and I am wondering how many 1916s had brass radiators and when Ford finally used up all the brass radiators and switched over to the black radiators?

Firestone 5 lug accessory wheels
I am looking for period photographs or even current photographs of cars with accessory 5 lug demountable wood wheels with the heavy fellows. I would also like any info about these wheels. This has been discussed previously on the old forum, but some more photos and info would be great! Thanks!
