I would like to see the drawing of the first Ford jack, the screw type with built in handle, just to see the date. That would give us an idea of when it was first supplied with the car. Re: Front axle repair insert tap size?
Go on You Tube for Dan Hatch's axle insert / axle rebuilding video. You will need special tap/ reamer for the bottom & taper reamer for the top. You will also need the fixture to do this operation, Or a real good machinest with a Bridgeport mill.

Re: WTB open car mirror
No Dan, I am looking for one like on page 350 of Bruce's book. It loops over the window frame and the screws go thru the mirror bracket twice. I dont know how to get a photo of it or I would post it. Darryl

Re: Rear fender to splash apron support
Because they did not have them on early cars the aftermarket was quick to produce a brace for sale to the public. I just bought a pair of original fenders for my '14 that had them held on with small machine screws & nuts. Question is weather you want it Henry stock, or add braces. Darryl

If the replacement blocks were not numbered, and just considered a service part, There may be no record of how many were produced or when the last of them were made. Darryl

I am still in search for these little metal pieces. Check your junk drawers, check your bolt bins, there has to be a couple floating around somewhere.

Re: Mark Smith auction in Virginia
For anyone that had ever been to Marks Main street building, The lower floor is still full of Model TS & Model As. I did not get word as to what was going to be done with these cars, if anything.
