Is this a curled spring ? The one inside the latch mechanism? I bought a latch repair kit from Snyders antique parts. Don't know if some parts would fit or not. The kit # was A-80055-RK . It had 3 different types of springs and other pieces. If you posted a picture I could look and see if they match...

Most of the covers were tacked to the bottom of the frame. The springs are attached to the base, then covered with a heavy muslin. Then horse hair and then layers of cotton. Hope I haven't misunderstood the question. I've done a few T seats in my Upholstery shop over the years.

1926 or 1927 sill plates
I have a 1927 T coupe. I have 1 sill plate. The plate is 9.75 long and 1.5 wide. I'm either looking for another to match or a pair of to replace them both.
