Front additions normal car garage doors are 9x7. My (museums) addition doors will only be for my model t fords. Nothing modern will ever touch that area while I’m alive. Those doors are locked in concrete now at 8’ wide as of yesterday- so only the height can be changed to 8’ from the planned 9’. It...

I read somewhere that ford advised you to grind off the old number and stamp the correct number into the block, and stamp a -R behind it for replaced/rebuilt.

1926 one ton height?
I am getting ready to frame my new addition and need to know if a 1926 one ton will make it into a 8’ x 8’ door. My original plans called for a 9’ tall door but they look crazy expensive ~ would be better to drop the height to 8’.
