Re: First Model T Toolkit Jack
I have been perplexed by the jack question for a long time. The Buckeye company was advertising a jack like the block letter FORD DETROIT ONE as easy as 1908. At that time they were in Louisville Ohio. On January 1st 1910 they relocated to Alliance Ohio. The FORD DETROIT jack exists marked with both...

This appears to be a Model T key, but doesn't have the center "hub". Examining with a magnifying glass reveals no evidence of a rivet being ground down. Any ideas?

The above information raises the questions: Is the style Kim posted. and Larry made, the original iteration of the "envelope" style? Or was that 26-27 Model T style similar to the Model A pouch that had snaps? If so, where does this one fit into the scheme of thins?

If you replaced the" battery and wiring" then one would assume it has a starter? So perhaps not the original engine?
Having dealt with estates, you want a fair, definitely NOT inflated, value.

I believe the original Ford wrench was 6 sided.
If you look at the Regan sheet, ALL of the T1349 wrench show that hole to be 8 sided. However, the real wrenches all have 6 sided holes. I assumed that the 8 sided hole in the drawings was a "typo"
