Steering wheel play

Hello, I have a '26 touring where the steering wheel has a good two-inches of play. All connections from the pitman down are good. I suspect the play is in the steering box. Assuming my suspicions are correct, can the problem be solved by replacing the pins, gears, and pinion? Also, can this work be...

1926-27 Tudor and Fordor Leg Room

I am 6'3" and would like to purchase a 26-27 sedan. In terms of leg room, would the tudor or fordor be a better choice for me?

Dan,

Thank you. With this information, the history of the car, and the remnant of the sticker on the windshield, I would assume it is,indeed, from when the car was new.

Scott, Thank you for your advice. If I gain ownership of the car, I will do so. The reason I am hung up on the sticker is that when I first saw the car 50 years ago the Ford dealer who owned it said the sticker was original. The car can be traced to a Ford dealer in a nearby town that sold it new. B...
