FYI, if this is where you’re going to park your car. Do yourself a favor and obtain a large tray and place it under engine. Not ment to be an insult rather a reality. Model “T” tend to loose oil. Your floor looks unblemished.

Here in New England instead of water I use antifreeze. Water evaporates fast. Antifreeze stays with whatever you are soaking longer.

Addendum: You may/ may not know when you install just the insulation ring, pressing it in there is a lip you need to navigate, slight as it is, that value needs to be accounted for.

The timer Dan posted is the one I want to build new internals.

Dan: I was thinking I could use a 3” pipe and mill segments out of it. However, my timer case is at different location. The radius I could (pipe) use could be 2-1/2” or whatever. I don’t have the old segments handy.

How about hook to front axle each side and bring straps back and hook them a foot in front of rear wheel. Do the same for the rear bringing straps a foot back from the front tire. My brother in law worked in a foundry since Vietnam until his demise contacting black lung. He would give me casting which were beautiful. I still have a few. I gave away most of them.

No quality of workmanship now and in the future as once was. Not to mention the price of doing business.

The tall base has Ford script with PN T 7316 A1.
The small one is not Ford, however, has the same part number barely legible of PN T 7316 A1.

Same part number different height? What do these go to? What gives?

I have what I believe is an August of 1926 vehicle. It had remanence of nickel on a couple of head bolts. However, no indication of nickel on water in/outlet. Has studs in block. Just trying to figure it out as I go along. As Johnny 5 says ,"need input"!

Dan, regarding the July 26, 1926 letter. Do you think this is the start date or it may have taken some time to inact this switch of policy?

The vaporizer carb started July 19, 1926 and I also read "late" 1926 for the bolts. Just trying to pin point it further.
