Here is a picture of the one I have had for several years probably at least ten years. When I bought it at a flea market I knew it was a fake but I liked it . It measures 8" x 12" and has the brass gromets on the corners and very nice porcelain. The reason I say "fake" instead reproduction is becaus...

I will hazard a guess and say that it fits over the exhaust manifold and the chain goes through the keyhole type hole on the two pieces that resemble wrenches. They would then be used for compressing the valve spring for removal of the pin. Jim

Re: Two piece valves
This is the one I removed last spring. It stretched on me and would not seat at all, I now have another that I believe has done the same thing, no compression on number 3 cylinder. Re: Single Barrel Bridgeport Tire Pumps

Re: Two piece valves
I had #4 stretch on me last spring replaced with a solid one, ran all summer and fall and developed a miss back in December a compression check shows nothing on number 3 I'm guessing I stretched another one. The first one did not come completely apart and I can see both valve heads when I look down ...

Re: OT Here it comes...
We are sitting right along Lake Erie/ Sandusky Bay area with 29 degrees and about 3-4 " hard to tell with the wind drifting it so bad. we will get plenty of snow but not what the "gloom and doomers " are saying. If you use a square shank screwdriver you can put a FORD adjustable wrench (or any other) to it and get it plenty tight. Jim

Re: Whats your favorite TOOL?
Have been carrying one of these tools in my pocket most of my life. I would have to say it's my favorite. As for regular type tools it would be a toss up between my welder or lathe. Jim

Another one in with questions
Just got confirmed but already have a question. Will there be a link to the MTFCA home page like there was on the old forum? Will that page be changed as well and also I saw no place to add a profile picture am I missing that. Thanks Chris for all you do. Jim
