Re: Bushing at End of the Steering Shaft
Why not just replace the bushing while it’s all apart…they’re not that expensive and easy to install. I wouldn’t over think that job

Re: Change Timing Gear
You’ll need to make sure the timing gear cover is properly a-lined with the cam when you reinstall or your timer won’t run true

Re: early steering wheel
Don’t take this wrong but those steering wheels can be bought all day long for $50 and under. I’ve got a several that I’ve bought from EBay for $25-$30. That’s a very common steering wheel. Good luck with your sale.

Re: Opinion: Brake apostacy
My 27 Roadster still has the stock transmission brake. I’ve driven farm tractors since I was about 13, I’m 58 now and I’m still on the road with a tractor at my work. I’ve always understood while operating a farm tractor you have to plan ahead, ALWAYS. My biggest issue with driving a Model T, just a...

Thanks Brent. Yes we’re not that far away from each other. I think you know a friend of mine, Jim Eubanks. Sounds like this valve job is more involved than I have the talent or tools.
