HI Mark,
I will take one camshaft. Do you have bearings as well? Also Iowe you for a set of lifter cups for my overhead 8 valve Roof. When Dave sent them to me with my order I did not get your address. Do you take a credit card or should I send you a check?
tnx, Howard(frontyboy.

I also have a Gallivan running in a 1915 T roadster. Not into hill climbing just touring. The high compression pistons were replaced from 12 to1 down to 8 to 1. I run 2 up draft SR Winfield's. After going through 2 Ruxstils they were replaced with a modified Columbia overdrive with model t 26/27 big...

Gee, I have one of those and light it off whenever I feel down. Love the sound.
Now let me apologize to the forum for the distasteful remarks I made here on this post a couple of days ago. It was wrong and totally out of place. I will not cross that line again.

good information. where does that put the compression ratio?
My Gallivan had 12 to 1 with no ill effects. It is now 8.5 to 1. Easier to start, still loud and very fast.

Wish I knew how to post photos here. My head has 2 intake ports on the top of the head. Also it has removable rocker stands with adjustable rockers. The exhaust side of the head has 2 ports. The intake manifold that came with the head appears to be an original casting and at the carburetor flange it...

8 valve ROOF cylinder head
Just purchased a 8 valve Roof head. Don't know anything about the history. It appears that the head has been reconditioned. The valves are new as well as the springs. Rockers are reconditioned as well. I am looking for pushrods and a correct head gasket. As I know little or nothing about the Roof, I...

We visited this collection some 15 years ago. Not as well organized as it is now. In one building we counted 10 open valve blocks stacked up form supports for shelving. In his office were several show cases jammed with restored brass early '09-11 carburetors. Also as many brass lamps are far and you...

I am finishing getting my 1910 Stoddard Dayton out from a deep sleep. It is an original unrestored car. Lots of little thing to check out. Today was what I thought to be a simple fix. There is no dip stick or pet cocks to check the oil. Instead they use a sight feed glass with a rod and cork floatin...
