Re: What Model T or Model T Accessory Do You Regret Not Buying?
I was a swap meet many years ago and saw a nice original set of 1926 Texas farm truck license plates that would have been great for my Roadster Pickup. Don’t remember the price but 15 minutes later I thought “ I’ve never seen plates like that”. I went back and the guy had left. I’ve never seen a set...

Pickup Bed Question
I'm about brain dead working with issues associated with my 26 T pickup bed. I noticed today that it appears, when all assembled, that the crossmember relief hole will not be centered over the crossmember. Is that just the way it is or am I missing something? The photo shows a piece of the flooring ...

Re: Big dissapointment !
Call the state auction commission and file a complaint. Years ago I sold an item via auction and had problems getting payed. Their check bounced and no one would return my calls. I called the state auction commission and within days got a call from the auction company followed by my check. I guess t...

Looks like stainless steel lug nuts have been discontinued. At one time I had a set but thought I needed the fancy chrome ones.

Re: Wire Wheel Lug Nuts
I’ll take a look and see if I can determine if there were
any copper or nickel layers. These lug nuts haven't been outside my shop since they were initially installed. Just waiting on me to get other things done. I haven’t looked lately but think I will go for a steel set.

Wire Wheel Lug Nuts
A couple of years ago I bought a set of chrome wire wheel lug nuts. They have begun to rust under the chrome that is peeling off. Did I get a bad set or is this a common issue? For $190 I expected a longer life.

I'd say that if I only had to do something twice, that would be a success story.

Re: Paint your car!
I did my painting back in 1980 with lacquer because it dried fast. Bugs had to be quick. I painted a lot of parts hanging from the kids swing set. Did have one fender come loose in the process so had a mess of dirt and grass to remove. Paint technology has passed me by.

Re: Unable to keyword search “2018 & Prior Forum”
Thanks for the input. What is strange, last week a few times I was able to do a word search the "old way" and it worked fine then didn't. It does not appear that when I use the Google method that I get all the results I did with the old way but may but may be my imagination.

Re: Headlight Ajustment
Now that I look at the service bulletin layout, I can probably do that in my garage. Will have do some garage cleaning which is needed anyway. The only other issue is the pretty good slope where the driveway joins the garage floor but should be able to ramp up at the rear wheels to compensate. For s...

When you say “deck”, are you referring to the metal floor of the roadster body? My body doesn’t have that metal floor. Maybe the kit is one size fits all.

Pickup Bed Floor
I am ready to start on the wood floor in my 26 Roadster Pickup. Included in the repop bed flooring hardware package are three bolts the use for which is not readily obvious. They are longer than the bolts used to hold the boards together.

Headlight Ajustment
My 26 Roadster has headlights mounted on the bar. There is a dealer set up for headlight adjustment shown in maintenance literature but that’s not practical for anyone to do. Are there any tips for aligning/adjusting headlights?

Thanks for the inputs. I was looking for options to pass on to a potential international buyer. Certainly had no thought of getting involved with shipping. That’s the buyers responsibility.

26 Roadster has been sitting for a year or so. Poured in a quart of gasoline and she fired right up. Maybe that will give me some motivation. Need to get the pickup bed finished and installed.
