A little late on this thread. I have a reeder head that I replaced due to corrosion. Obviously there was some lack of maintenance but I also have to be a little suspect of the alloy. Someday it might be worth welding up. A sold another in much better shape at the Auburn swap meet for 300 so it will...

I believe it is a reeder head so does anyone have one of them for sale ?

Not sure a friend has this one I have not seen it in person he sent me these pictures and part number .

Looking to see if anyone has one of these heads they would part with part number was a T3001a I believe snyder’s used to sell them .

Thanks for the replies, I'm just trying to get a little more compression than the Sherman style head and I found a picture of this head but no maker or where to get one which now seems as if it's an older discontinued head. The chamber around the valves on this head looks a little shallower for end ...

Hey I was looking on line and came across this picture does anyone know what head this is or is it an available anywhere or is it a modified head? The article just said they purchased it used and nothing else really about it.

What are the racing cam shafts you have? specs?

are they t wheels? and also what shape are they in?

What shape is the radiator in?

Yea I try to ! Getting impatient now have not been able to start/drive it since October last year! Should run alittle better this time around .

So how does or what goes into the high low gear setup ?

I know what your saying but there was a few sets made I have seen two cars in person that have what I’m talking about and they can rev out low speed another 100+ feet than any of the other 30 cars we race against. And they still use standard 2 speed trans just different gearing in trans . The ruckst...

I was looking for any info on changing gear ratio on the low speed drum / triple gear I was told some one made a set of custom gears and drum a few years ago but can not find anything. Looking for a longer low speed so when you shift to high it won’t bog this would be for hill climb racing only.

We went Sunday for the competitive runs, it started pouring as soon as our class got the cars running. We decided to go for it in the rain I ended up getting 3rd place with my speedster first trip up the hill for the car!

Sean B, We did not shorten the frame we used a scrap frame cut what we needed off of it to do the drop on the rear. and this is the only picture i have of the side right now.

"Sean b” I have not seen one of those, the thing I really liked about the one from nostalgia Sid is the wheels stand nice and straight I have noticed on a lot of drop axles the wheels appear to lean in towards the car.
