Good idea Hank.
I was thinking about contacting Kim if none show up.
I missed a pair on here last summer.
I wasn't sure how many pairs might be out there on shelves etc.
My father-in-law is a retired machinist that still dabbles now and then.
He'd help me make a pair if we had a template.

Re: Mounting 1913 Oval Gas Tank

Bob, Thanks for the reply and photo. I have the same tank (I should've written "round" and not oval. A previous owner did the same thing to my seat platform so I'll have to address that at some point. My tank is back in and all tightened down. I had to loosen the straps temporarily on both ends and ...

Mounting 1913 Oval Gas Tank

I removed and cleaned the oval gas tank from my 1913 Touring. The old hardware was mismatched so I got new bolts, castellated nuts, and cotter pins. Do the bolts push into the brackets from the bottom or down from the top? Seems like down from the top with the castellated nuts exposed would make it ...

Terrible news and a grim reminder of how careful we all must be when driving 100+ year- old machinery.
Heartfelt condolences to the family and prayers for Ron's wife.

Re: Speedster rebuild

Peter,
Great project!
You are very talented.
What's the equally beautiful brass car next to the speedster?
Can you post a picture of that vehicle too?

Best regards and good luck!

Top Bow/Iron Identification

Can someone much more knowledgable than I help identify this single top bow with irons?
This single bow was mixed in with the set of four that came with my 1913 Touring.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

What a wonderful vehicle.
I wonder what's under the hood?
It can't be 20 hp, can it?

Re: Hershey 2019 Photos

I am #26.
It was great meeting Steve and the other MTFCA members.
I truly enjoyed my first trip to Hershey in 33 years.
Back then there was lots of mud.
Can’t wait for next year.

Steam Car Guy From MTFCA Meeting at Hershey

I was at the Hershey MTFCA meet and greet yesterday.
There was a gentleman there who mentioned steam cars.
I did not catch his name.
If you see this, please email me.
I'd like to speak with you.

Thanks,

Help With Carburetor Rebuild - Duplex Improved (Simmons)

I would like to rebuild the carb on my 1924 Touring.
The carburetor is a Duplex Improved manufactured by Simmons.
I would like to find and buy a new needle and seat.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction?
Langs does not have.

Duplex Improved Carburetor

I meant to post here and not the classifieds:
I have a Duplex Improved Carburetor on my 1924 Ford Touring.
It seems to supply good power but being fairly new to Model Ts have no basis of comparison.
Just wondering what others who have this brand think of this carburetor.
