I have reached out by phone and email several times in the past two months with no response.
I purchased a beautiful 1913 taillight and carbide tank from him in the past year.
He's a great guy!!!!
I hope everything is okay.

My friend Doug and I, unpinned the U-joint, drove out the old driveshaft bushing on my ‘24 Touring, and replaced it with a new brass one. Luckily no reaming needed, but did need a little facing. Universal T Drivers for me too!
Went on easily with tubes and flaps.
Much easier to put on than the 1960's Lincoln Highway Tires that I had to take off.

Re: Windshield Woes Continue

John, Ed Fuller's post (above) enlightened me as to why the brass covers on the interior side of the hinge would not screw or turn off. Answer - They're covers that just pull off revealing a nut that can be loosened. A couple turns of the nut with a 19/32 wrench and we're now in business! Thanks aga...

Re: Windshield Woes Continue

Ed,
Good advice if need be.
I was considering that very thing if I couldn't get things freed up.

Thanks,

Windshield Woes Continue

What I’ve learned trying to get the upper windshield frame to raise on my 1913 Ford Touring. 1) I am not too bright 2) I am not that smart 3) I don’t have any idea what I’m doing I have repeatedly soaked the hinges with creeping oil. I tried to turn the slotted bolts on the outside of the hinges on ...

Thank you for the great advice, Dan and Tim!

Hey Tim,
You collect and restore phonographs, yes?
I collected and restored antique phonographs for 30+ years before getting interested in Model Ts.

Re: Mounting Dash Clock

Should the #9 raven wood screws that are used to mount the speedometer to the firewall be strong enough to hold this clock?

Thank you,

What do I use to remove what looks like a flat square head set screw?
Unless the slotted head is broken off???

Mounting Dash Clock

Can someone let me know if this clock comes apart for mounting?
I’m guessing that the base can be pried off and I’m not missing a mounting bracket.
I would rather ask first before doing damage.

Re: FOR SALE: Seat Upholstery

These two bolts of material were wrapped up and in the backseat of the ‘13 Touring I purchased last summer.
There was a piece of masking tape marked 1915 Touring on one of the two pieces.
I hope the two photos with the tape measure help identify these.

FOR SALE: Seat Upholstery - $125

New Lower Price; I really hope someone can use these. Two Pieces of seat upholstery as pictured. These will need light cleaning. Both were wrapped up and in the back seat of the 1913 Ford Touring, I purchased last summer. A piece of tape had a handwritten "1915 Touring" marked on one of the two roll...

1913 Stewart and Clark Model C Speedometer

From what I've read the correct speedometer head for my July '13 Touring would be a Stewart and Clark Model C.
Is the head marked Model C anywhere?

I've seen a number of the earlier Model 26 heads but have not seen a Model C up close.

Thank you,

Re: Old 16mm Movies of MTFCI Events

Great footage and very enjoyable. A wonderful glimpse into days gone by. This is just a curiosity question and may be somewhat rhetorical. I wonder if the brass car hobby in 1971 was more accessible to the middle class than it is today? When I look at the prices of the brass cars listed on the Horse...
