Mike,
I hope all is well.
If you can't find a good used example, I just purchased a brand new 30 X 3.5 non-demountable rim from Universal Vintage tire.
Best of luck!

Are there other vendors I should try or individuals who would make a set?

Re: Wanted: Original Brass Oil Cap For 1913 Ford Touring
Thanks to everyone for all of the information.
I have a copy of the judging guidelines, so know what to look for.
Am I correct that none of the repros have the 'made In USA" stamped in them?

New Top Bows Discussion
I am finishing up the rear end and driveshaft rebuild on the ‘24 Touring and simultaneously and slowly gathering parts for the ‘13 Touring project. After removing what was left of the well-worn top, I have bows that have seen better days. I have received a recommendation for new bows from a member h...

Loose Top Bow Repair
The front top bow on my 1913 touring is not tight in the sockets and can be wiggled up and down by hand. The curved part of the bow shows cracking. What is the best way to reinforce the bow and tighten it in the socket? Would something similar to J B weld or epoxy help? Thanks for helping someone wh...

Re: WTB: 30 x 3-1/2 ND rim
I’ve been watching this thread from a distance, because my 1913 Touring has one demountable rim on the passenger side rear.
It seems that ND rims are not plentiful.
Do many who tour regularly and are not interested in show judging convert to all demountable rims?
Good luck R V!

Plumbing Carbide Tank 1913 Touring
I have read the “1913-14 Gaslight” thread with great interest. I have a carbide tank on my 1913 touring but nothing else. I am going to try the McMaster-Carr red hose for now, but can someone recommend a source for the correct pipe and clamps? Also, is there a good diagram or photographs that show w...

Re: Gouged pinion gear?
Just a curiosity question from a wannabe mechanic or maybe closer to a non-mechanic pretending to be one... If you replace a worn pinion gear is the ring gear normally replaced too? Would a brand new pinion gear and good but somewhat used ring gear not mesh as well as both new? I am in the process o...

Thank you for the tip.
I do have one original screw that will not hold so the epoxy idea is a good one.

Wanted: 1913 Touring Hardware
I purchased new leather straps that connect the top irons with T head pins when in the down position on a 1913 touring.
I would like to find 4 correct screws that attach the straps to the irons.
Does one of the vendors sell these screws or does someone happen to have extras to sell?

Funny Ed, I was having a flashback of stealing my mom's new broom in the late '60's, cutting off the sweeping end, and using some of my dad's black electrical tape to make a stickball bat. We'd spray paint a rectangle with both diagonals for a strike zone on the wall of the local high school (JFK Pa...

I waited thirty years to buy my first T. Taking my time and enjoy the journey on the rear end rebuild. Three years ago, I did not know the difference between a muffler and carburetor. I had to keep reminding myself that clockwise was tighten and counter-clockwise loosen. It took me a long time to st...

Good idea Hank.
I was thinking about contacting Kim if none show up.
I missed a pair on here last summer.
I wasn't sure how many pairs might be out there on shelves etc.
My father-in-law is a retired machinist that still dabbles now and then.
He'd help me make a pair if we had a template.
