This is the part I need. Took me a while to figure out how to post pic.

That's right the handle broke just inside the latch mechanism it's all one assembly.

Yep it fits on the inside. The handle is the same for left driver side rear and the front passenger side. If that helps. I will post a pic later.

I need a door handle for 1923 touring right front passenger side. Mine broke makes it hard to get in and out. But it does now have a General Lee feel to it!

I was referring to the drive shaft not the housing that it rides in. It must be a replacement not original Ford. There is no Ford markings and no dot marks in the center. I believe the dot was a test for hardness ?

Compared to all the stock driveshafts that I have it is significantly larger diameter. I'll measure it when I get home.

I picked up a driveshaft that has the original pinion set up with the sleeve and ballbearings set up just like stock. The other end has machine square end for U joint just like stock. The center section is much larger diameter. I can't see any markings. Was there any variation between years? Was the...

I'm looking for a Ruckstell rear end that I could rebuild.

What is the advantages or disadvantage if using timesaver?

Agreed they must have done it out of the block or the babbitt would have melted out. The surface is built up so much I don't think a cap would fit.

I would think you would have to have removed the crank to do it. It would have been much simpler to take just the cap off and add babbitt.

I don't think the person selling it knew. It was covered in thick old grease and appeared so for a very long time all the journals are round and measure close to standard so we thought it was a good one until I got home and cleaned it up. I don't understand why you would do this to fix the end play ...

I purchased this crankshaft at Chickashee and cleaned it up to use in a spare engine. There appears that someone used brazing on the inside of the third main. Why would they do this? Is there anyway to clean it up?

I also have an auto polo car but have no one to play.

I did use the copper gaskets. I lined up the clamps and tighten them and just got enough room for it to miss the frame.

I have a stromberg of I was trying to install. The bowl hits the frame so the bolt holes from the intake manifold and carb dosnt ]line up. What needs to be done to install.
