1909 Cylinder Head SOLD

1909-10 Cylinder head with an old but nice repair. There are 4, approximately 1/8”, holes that will need to be filled. Will make a nice head. Very hard to find. $500 can deliver to Hershey if paid in advance. PayPal friends and family will work for me.

On the base of the transmission tail shaft, Is the year the bottom number or the right side number?
One looks like it may be 6-10-09 or 6-09-10?
The other one I am not sure at all as the right side number has three digits?

I had one in the original wooden crate. It had a small gas tank to get the Model T started before switching it over to kerosene. It also had a 1/8” steel spacer shaped like a head gasket that you placed between two head gaskets to lessen the compression in order to run on kerosene.

I saw where the post card was listed on EBay.
It would be interesting to see if the family could be traced to present day. Chute doesn’t sound like a common name. Ella and Edgar could also be Clutes.

You could measure the height of the car on Jack stands and then subtract the distance from the bottom of the tires to the floor.

I saw that, however, it is a repro but probably correct. The shank of the key is 1/4” but I think they made a smaller one, maybe 3/16” also. I have a faceplate for the smaller one. RV Anderson was against reaming the hole out to 1/4”, maybe because it is an original.

That could work especially for fitment of the reverse disc because it makes contact with the taper of the pulley.
The original pulley was 3” diameter and this one isn’t that far off especially with it being adjustable.

The pulley on the engine has two grooves, the groove closest to the engine is cut so that the reverser disc will mesh inside it and cause it to turn in the opposite direction. The outer groove is adjustable and takes a 3/8” wide belt which drives the pulley the reverser disc is mounted to. I found a...

McDonough Model T Go Kart

I am looking for some parts for the McDonough T10 Go Kart. Is there a source for parts for these?
I am mainly looking for the 2 piece pulley for the motor shaft and the gear box pulley with the reverse disk mounted to it.

I have an original wooden seat back that came off of a 1910 Tourabout. The mostly complete car was pulled out of a junkyard in Atlanta. The only paint that remains on that panel is Black.

Has anyone ever heard of Hobbs Wind wings dated 1923? I have a set but haven’t been able to find out much about them. I don’t have them handy to take a picture right now. Maybe someone else has or knows something about them.
