I’ve had same problem for at least last two days. I didn’t wait that long, but after about 2 minutes just moved on.

Conroe is very hit and miss. In general, very few Model T parts. It has become much more of a flea market post Covid. I’ve found some decent items over the years, but be prepared to wade through Lots of common SB350 & 4x4 stuff.

Probably just a matter of time. Although not on an official level, I’ve seen combined tours and events with some of the smaller chapters.

At least 1/2 the size in terms of vendors from last year. Not that it matters anymore, but many folks said that it was the end of Thursday evening sales and end of overnight camping on the fairgrounds that kept a lot of folks (Vendors) home. Still had a good time and found a number of things I needed.

Martynn, I have nothing technical to add. But I will say that I’ve always admired these drawings. I enjoy the threads as the new ones unfold. They have also helped be get several derelict T’s going over the last few years.

These bolts are one of the big voids in the hobby. Lots of Hassler sets available, but bolts are the hold up. There is a demand for these if someone has the ability to make them.

It’s a great time. I always meet some interesting people and find 90% of what I’m looking for each year. It’s the only pre-war this part of the country, it’s worth the drive and expense for me!!

I have a Sept 1916 Engine and and plan on using the improved large drum transmission.

Is a 26/27 Hogs Head required or does it matter. If yes, then what about the upper two mount bolts that go into the block. The 1916 block is not drilled for that.

Brent, Never saw what happened to it after Thursday Evening. I saw several others, but were all priced $1500 or so for complete ones.

What a timely thread. I essentially have the same issue. Are the metal Sill & Wood commercially available. My 24 has homemade sills and 2x4 frame. Fender irons are bolted on with lag bolts and Turtle Deck flooring is non existent. I would like to get it back to original if the parts are available.
