Thanks for the replies guys, ford guys are always good guys. To put this in context, I'm building free flight models, powered by rubber bands. Some of those fellows are real sticky about "true scale", turns out Corvair engines have been used in the Sky Scout. I could explain more but on a off topic ...

I got 291.15 lbs. for a long block/no trans
now to find the Covair engine weight, that should be easier.
They're still using them in airplanes.

weight of Model T engine
I can't seem to find the weight for the model T's engine
The Pientpol Sky Scout plane was developed for it, as it was too heavy for his Air Camper, which used the motel A engine.
I'd guess you folks are the ones who'd know
