Re: Compression Test - Cold v. Warm
Thanks to all for the replies and information. The reason for the original question was curiosity after reading an old MTFCA forum post that referenced that a compression test on a Model T should be done cold. I had always heard that a compression test should be done with an engine in a warmer state...

Compression Test - Cold v. Warm
Greetings, I'm relatively new to the Model T hobby and have what may be considered an elementary question regarding performing a compression test on my 1926 Touring. In reviewing old MTFCA forum posts on the subject of compression testing, I found reference that a compression test for a Model T shou...

Engine Number v. Body Number?
I've heard that the only "vehicle number" that a Model T had was the number that was stamped on the engine block. On my 1926 Canadian built Touring, I just realized that there is a number stamped on the engine side of the cowl. This number (T1768) is different than the number that is stamped on the ...

The gas tank in my 1926 Touring is in need of refurbishing, the sediment bulb upon i...

Re: Proper Tire Size
Additional information on my 1926 Touring. It is a car with a starter and with demountable rims on wood spoke wheels. Given this, is it ok/proper for all four tires to be sized at 30 X 3.5? Thanks again for any guidance/confirmation.

Proper Tire Size
My 1926 Touring is in need of a new set of tires given that the ones currently on it are around 60 years old and have cracking on the sidewalls. Currently, it has 30 X 3.5 sized tires on both the front and back. I'm a recent new Model T owner so I'm still learning the Model T basics that most of the...

Model T Insurance
Hello, I'm a new Model T owner and new to the MTFCA so please be understanding to what is probably an elementary question. I'm now the very proud owner of a 1926 Touring, it's not a show car but it is in decent running condition. My initial plans for it is for just driving it around my neighborhood ...
