Hi , I have a good 10 tooth pinion here (somewhere in my workshop) if I can find it I will post some pics , you can make an offer.

I had the same issue, oil on the garage floor , quite a bad leak even with a new gasket. I used silicone sealant and ptfe (plumbers thread tape) tape on the screw threads as extra back up, no leaks . :D

1917 engine casting with no Ford script

Hello

Does anyone know the background to Model T engines with no Ford script? I have two of these, one has a 1917 casting date , the other is 1919 with a Canada serial number. These were in Canadian made cars sold in New Zealand.

Hello Allan, thanks for the tip, I went out to the workshop and cleaned the area above the serial number raised area, in the hope there may have been any sign, but no luck. Any ideas as to how I can get the badly rusted- in valve stems out without damaging the surrounding cast iron? They have been s...
