The issue isn't bearing to cam fit it's bearing to block. I have seen the die and press pictures to make round again but have no access to anything like that.

Have done many sets on cars didn't find it difficult at all ,used kevlar only thing I would suggest would be to get the strap tool that the venders sell makes it a lot easier to pull band around drum .good luck

Thanks Donnie for all the info,my wheels have bearings so I guess 30-31 style.i have 1 good pinion gear minus the bolts and rollers.the other is very egged out,I am trying to find a shop that can weld up holes and redrill using good one as a guide.i do need to find what to use for bolts and rollers ...

I think your correct Jeff there is no reason for spring to be there ,just because it appears to be old doesn't mean it was installed correctly.hopfully someone has one they can take pictures of for me .thanks for the responses everyone

I run a z head on my t's and have been very happy. My best experience was adding one to my tt snowmobile it made a huge power difference on a very heavy machine. I have had no negative issues

I am installing what I believe to be a model 160 Stewart speedometer in a 23 touring with 30x3.5 wheels .what is the correct tooth count on the 2 gears at the wheel and is the pivot a 1 to 1 ratio of different? Thanks in advance
