Reading all the problems of removing the hogshead in the car, I believe that it would be easier to take the engine out then it would be easier to remove the hogshead.

I use the same oil I use in the engine, 10-30. I check the hub oil every time I start the engine and top it off when needed.

The choke rod on my 26 Touring also sticks. It only sticks when I adjust the carburetor, I have to turn the knob back and forth to loosen it up The square shaft is too small for the swivel and does any one know how to fix the problem.

I got my 26 Touring started today. She doesn't like the cold. when it's below 65 she will not start, but when it's above 65 no problem. Now I will give her a good run when our weather gets better.

I found most of my tools for my 26 Touring in a antique store.

I like to read all the threads even the ones I don't understand. I don't like to read the ones I already read twice.

Well I got the color back. This happens to me about this time every year. I log on and it brings everything back, but this time I had troubles logging in.

I don't have any color to let me know what I have read. It started two days ago and when I tried to log in it stays the same. Does anybody have the same problem?

Well I finally got my Vintage Ford magazine today. Now to sit down in my recliner and read.

Today is Lizzie's, my 1926 Touring, birthday. Today 99 years ago she was being built, well at least her engine was. When she was built as a car nobody knows, it depends if she was built at the factory or one of the assembly plants. So I took her on a 10 mile run.

When I put the New Day on my T it was doing the Hula. I ordered two brass shields and cut the middle out to fit over the modern seal. The brass shields act as a shim to bring the timer a little away from the cover, then my New Day stopped doing the Hula.

I got my Vintage Ford and also Model T Times today.

They are only made for the small drums, Daniel told me that he can't make them for the large drums because of how the backing plates are bolted on.

I went to get my mail today and guess what I found the Vintage Ford. Now to sit in my recliner and start reading.

I got my Snyder's catalog yesterday. They got the prices on their parts, I asked and received a parts catalog for Model A's and they didn't have the prices for their parts.

Right now Daniel is making the AC brakes for the small drum. I don't know if he will produce brakes for the large drums or not. I will ask him the next time I see him.

When I first read about Steve I thought it was a sick joke, but no it did happen. I see Steve at Chickasha and I hope to see him next year. It hurts to see Steve's Roadster in that condition and hope he can get it repaired. I'm praying for you to get well quickly.

This morning I backed Lizzy, my 26 Touring, out of the garage and gave her a good wash. I'm getting her ready for the Sooner Celebration we have every year in our town Waukomis a week from this Saturday.

Gee and I was cussing out computer for nothing.

I rode on her a few years ago when they had the Trimotor in Enid, Okla. I at first wasn't going to have a ride but was talked into it by a friend, I am glad that I did, it was a very enjoyable ride, and I will again when they bring her back to Okla.

My 26 Touring is all stock except for the side rearview mirrors, the rearview mirror on the windshield, and the New Day timer. I even use Champion X sparkplugs.

In 2019 I replaced the timer with a New Day on my 26 touring. When I started her up, the New Day was doing the hula, so I ordered two brass shields and cut out the centers for the modern oil seal, The shields acted as a washers that hold the timer away from the brush keeping it from doing the hula, ...

This morning I took Lizzy, my 1926 touring, on a 10 mile round trip to the bank. When we got home I changed her oil and finished greasing her universal joint and drive shaft bushing. Now we are all set for the summer.

Eleven years ago when I bought my 26 Touring the first thing I bought a new Radiator. When it came I noticed it was a round tube. I have drove it in parades in Oklahoma in August with no problems and it still keeps the engine cool.

After reading about a magnet being ground up when it fell into the transmission, I took mine out. I never seen any metal filings when I had it in the transmission.

I don't do a thing with my 26 touring. I just back it in my garage, shut her off and wait till it warms up. I been doing this for the last 10 years and in the spring I change the oil and clean the New Day timer. She will start every time in the spring.

About 10 years ago I ask an old mechanic in our town how often did you have to overhaul Model T's and A's because they didn't have air cleaners. He told me that they had to overhaul them pretty often.
