Never noticed the W mark or no period after the A before reading this post on hubcaps. It’s amazing how the simplest part on a T can be a thing of beauty... almost look like art.

You start one project then find two more which need to be done. This is a case of I don’t know what I don’t know. 13T - Starting issues and mixture adjustments
A few months ago I put a Holley NH carb on the 13T. I set the mixture per the guide on the MTFCA site. Reading past threads, I understood some Ts require making the mixture a little rich by a quarter or half turn to get a cold engine started. That being said, my Holley NH runs about 1.25 turns open ...

13T - Ford wrench, unknown tool, and old parts
I had only added things to the 13T’s toolbox... threw in what I had with grandpa’s old stuff. Today, I deep cleaned the tool box. Found a Ford wrench labeled simply with 1 and 2. What bolt were these designed specifically for? Then found a tool which will have a simple enough explanation but I have ...

Re: 13T - Kingston to Holley NH
Larry, Almost everything I’ve done on the 13T has been getting it closer to original in a series of baby steps. However, I guess in my mind if I do something which is a deviation from that process... I would hope it’s a choice which someone who owned the 13T back in the day may have reasonably made ...

Re: 13T - Kingston to Holley NH
The 13T has no starter and runs with a 25 engine right now. The original engine is in my garage waiting for some attention.
I crank start and run off a 6v battery as my magneto works but it results in a rough running engine. The mag will be a future project to work on.

13T - Kingston to Holley NH
I have been running a Kingston carb (L4?) on the 13T. Over the last year, I’ve read numerous threads about T carbs and decided I wanted to purchase a new model carb and keep the Kingston in reserve as a backup/spare. Though there’s always debate and disagreement... there seemed to be a consensus som...

Re: Rust removal Evapo-Rust
I, also, used Evaporust in the 13T’s water jackets to remove any rust prior to installing a new brass radiator. I found the product extremely easy to use and liked the fact the product addressed rust though the chelation... which meant it wasn’t caustic or a hazardous material.

Decided to work toward getting functional lamps since I picked up an acetylene generator at Luray. Was able to get one of the oil lamps immediately started up with a new wick. Attached are the pics. Isn’t the point of the “A” configuration to cause the gas streams, when they hit each other, to create a wide/broad flame for greater reflected illumination?

I have E&J Model 666 gas lamps on the 13T... they are all brass, not black/brass, so I understand they're not original; however, they're beautiful and for now I plan on keeping them on there since that's what grandpa had. Does anyone have a picture of their wiring harness in the engine compartment if you have it setup pretty close to original?
