I went with Allan's method. Drilled two small holes thru the brass script, put the threaded rod thru with the cap nuts. Only difference is I added a washer under the cap nuts on the inside of the radiator to protect the fins. It's been 20 years and no problems.

Re: Ts in London England and Ireland

Tommy, We were in Ireland last year and were surprised at how many Model T Ford related adventures there were. We made arrangements before arriving for some rides and meet ups. You might want to contact the Irish Model T Ford Club (we are now proud members!) at irish.modelt@gmail.com , or look up th...

Re: Dads collecion

Sorry to hear about your dad Jesse. Another thing you might try is to go to the MTFCA home page (click on "home" in the top bar of this page) and then click on "Chapters". If the cars are located in Oregon, look for a chapter near you. Most have phone numbers you can call and ask someone for help. T...

Re: Trying reach Ralph Cordell of Arizona

Can't find his number but, for what it's worth, the last time I stopped by he was in Cave Creek, AZ. Might be able to look him up or try the club?

Re: Auto Theft - Signal System Key?

Gary, I have two. The first came with a key, the second didn't. The key to the first doesn't fit the second lock. I took it to an old fashion locksmith on Coronado Island (San Diego) and he picked the lock and made me a key. Took him a few days but he did it. Maybe see if you can find an old fashion...

Re: Questions about Victor #2 Lights

James,
My 1914 touring was built Oct 7, 1913. I have the same tail light you describe on your car (doesn't mean it wasn't changed over the past 100+ years).
If you need a picture, let me know.

Re: Just to test if I understood it.

Mark, Not trying to belabor the point, but that's what I did and it came out 90 x 38 (38 is under 50 so it won't accept it!). If I keep the aspect ratio and raise the "38" to "50", then the "90" goes to "105" (over 90 so not accepted). I'm guessing that if I want both cars in the same picture, I nee...

Re: Just to test if I understood it.

I apologize, I also did this on Chris' 2018 post.
Can we only post one pic on our profile? I have a pic of both my cars together, but it either comes out 90 x 38 (under 50) or 105 x 90 (over 90 x 90).
Any other combination under 90, but over 50 gives a distorted picture?
Thank you.
