Brent,
I could get it to the mainland in Anacortes, WA. I just did this with a friends Miata. Saves the ferry hassle and cost as most transport people don't want to deal with the ferries It does require some advance planning especially during the summer tourist season.

It is an SR meaning S Roadster, has the metal cowel mother in law seat. Top was an option so not on this car. looks pretty clean and complete.

Laryy, Pate's early ford encyclopedia is also a wealth of information and comes with a cd containing the operating manuals supplied by Ford to new owners. It also has reprints of parts books that really help seeing how things go together

19 roadster seat back upholstery
I am looking for pictures of the seat back upholstery on a 19 roadster. I am especially interested in the area of the arm rests and where the body dips down from the top bow saddle bracket to the arm rest. I want to know how close the upholstery follows the body contour. Inside and outside views wit...

Re: 28 Chev head adapter
Gene French designed an adapter with some improvements over the Jern plate. Gene turned the manufacturing over to a neighbor, Scott Hansen who made a small run of the adapters. They are very well made, but Scott found that it was so time consuming to machine the adapters, with a limited market for t...

Re: Dearh of the Model T Hobby?
I recently won best of show in the San Juan Island Concourse. Albeit not really deserved, a small show, and while car is correct, although not paint correct, it does show interest in the early cars. There were a large variety of cars in this show, some high end restoration. I had lots of interest in...

Re: what have you done with your model T in August
22 Coupe took best of show today in the San Juan Island concourse. Very surprised as there were some gorgeous cars in the show. Win perhaps had something to do with being the oldest car in the show, so correct everything not such a problem although other than gray and black paint car is correct. Not...

Thanks Craig,
here are a couple of pics of my honey comb. I tested it and it doesn't leak, water inlet had been reinforced with brazing at some point but tank and connections are solid.
Thanks for the input Van

Honey comb radiator good/bad
Hi All, I am at the point of installing radiator in my 19 roadster project and have two low radiators in my stash. One is a honey comp with an undamaged core, can't remember how or when I got this, the other is a stock T that is rougher, but probably serviceable. Any experience with honey comb would...

Scott just read your last post, so you answered my question. Can you post a pick of the bend over the engine mount and connection to the firewall. always nice to get the info from those that have been there and done that.

Modern dip stick install
I recently purchased a modern dipstick, Langs 3079DS that replaces the lower petcock. Installation instructions say a "slight" bend may be needed. It looks to me like it will require way more than a "slight" bend to get the tube to exit forward of the firewall under the hood. This is on a 19 roadste...

Part transport needed SF Bay area to Seattle area
I need transportation for 5 wire wheels, 4 have tires mounted and have hubs. From Hayward, CA. to Friday Harbor, WA north of Seattle. Any where close to Seattle would be a plus and save me a trip to CA. Glad to pay for gas.

Atwater/Kent front plate cam gear
Thanks to the forum I found that Tom VanMeeteren is able to supply cap, rotor and points for my AK type RA distributor. I have an Atwater/Kent front plate with a type RA distributor head. Mark, thanks for the promo for the early ford site. Amazing how many of these still survive hoping to fi...

Re: LOOKING FOR LANG'S STARTER SWITCH UNIT # 5014RE
do check the cable and all contact surfaces. Ask me how I know after pulling starter, switches, etc tracking everything multiple times over the years and it almost always was contacts that were just dirty. It doesn't take much on a 6v system with the high amp draw to heat things up.

Re: LOOKING FOR LANG'S STARTER SWITCH UNIT # 5014RE
Adding to previous comments. With a 6v system if everything on the cable to the starter is not squeeky clean, the voltage drop is significant. You can check the switch and they do get a little unreliable. But make sure the contacts are good. Offer still stands, you can have the switch for the cost o...

Just wandered out to the barn and I do have one. VOM says it checks ok. This is just the switch, not the mounting bracket. Email me shipping info, I am a little hard of hearing, so email is best. I'll send it off to you and you can send me the shipping cost once I know what it is.
