WTB: left rear fender for 1926 sedan
Seems like I have hit a dead end searching for a rear left fender for my 26 sedan. Lots of coupe ones out there but the sedan fenders seem to be scarce. If you have one for sale please let me know. Need not be perfect, needing work is ok, too. I am in RI. would pay shipping. Thanks!

Re: The Curse of the Split Rim
I can't figure out why but it seems that the three legged tool causes the rim to twist. Ends never seem to line up properly. I'm using old tires but surely this couldn't be the issue

Re: The Curse of the Split Rim
A tough one, Craig. I pride myself on doing everything. If I can't fix it, I don't want it. Seriously, I've been working on early cars for over thirty years and am pretty good at it but this one is kicking my behind. I think the issue here is trying to mount old tires on the split rims. Some folks b...

The Curse of the Split Rim
Have any of you had luck mounting a 21" tire onto a split rim? I have tried the following with no success: 3 legged tire tool, TWO 3 legged tire tools, wood blocks and hydraulic jack, bumper jacks. In the past I have managed to ruin several split rims by stretching them out of shape in an attempt to...

Re: Sheared rear axle key
The axle spins free of the wheel. Looking at the axle end, I can see the keyway and the key are at different points. I've dealt with this on other make antique cars but not Model T. I'm hoping by just pulling the hub I can grab onto what's left of the key and knock loose whatever is left in the keyw...

Sheared rear axle key
Gentlemen,
I would really appreciate some advice on how to replace a sheared axle key in my right rear wheel. I have never encountered this repair before and I am hoping that I can gain some insight from those of you with "experience" in this repair. .

Split Rims nightmare
Despite the many videos I have watched on the mounting of tires onto 21 split rims, I have had no success. I do have two three legged rim devices, have tried one, then the other, then both but cannot bring the rim ends together. In addition, when somewhat close, I've tried prying with a screwdriver,...
