Re: Wanted valve stems

Larry,
If I’m not mistaken the length of the stem does matter and the longest size you can use is 3” and the shortest is 2 3/4”?

Wanted valve stems

Looking for some valve stems for Model T. I have some original Schrader rim nuts and covers that I’m using. From what I have read on the forums there were other manufacturers other than Schrader that can be used in place of the 777. Anyone out there that has a set (4) that they would like to part wi...

Re: Brass Carbide Generator- Some Advice Needed

Ok I’ve been looking over pictures and have been able to put most of the parts together. Can anyone verify if there is a gasket between the top tank and bottom?
Thanks

Re: Brass Carbide Generator- Some Advice Needed

I did figure out what those three pieces of steel are with a slight bend. The attach on the inside of the bottom tank under a lip. I’m not sure what function they serve though. Perhaps to keep the basket from jumping around? I saw this picture that helped me figure it out. Perhaps someone else can c...

Brass Carbide Generator- Some Advice Needed

I just acquired this brass Carbide Generator. It looks as though someone took it all apart to do a restoration on it. All the brass is straight. I've never seen one of these apart before. It is missing the basket for the carbide, and I think some sort of rubber gasket to seal the top and the bottom ...

I'm only interested in the mounting bracket as I need one for my Phinney Walker angle mount clock. I'm interested to know how it fastens to the back of the clock case

Re: WTB Early Fender Eye Bolts

Larry here is the post that discusses the earlier bolts. Langs was carrying them in their 2019 catalog but no longer available. Item number 4806E. It was listed as bolt for 09-13 having a rounder style opening.

WTB Early Fender Eye Bolts

Looking for the early style round fender eye bolts. I'm looking for the one that is on the right. Langs use to carry them but no longer do, I'm guessing that these were being reproduced at one time. Perhaps someone knows who was reproducing these or perhaps you have some. Give me a call or email me ...

Wanted support brackets for brass windshield

Looking for the brackets that go at the end of the support rods by the radiator. I don't know if these are supposed to be brass or painted steel.
